Inspection & Analysis
Every service visit begins with a detailed inspection of your property and surrounding area. During the inspection process we will be looking to identify concerns such as standing water and other things that encourage mosquitos to breed.
Bio-Friendly Mosquito Treatment
We treat your outdoor spaces with an approved, eco-friendly product designed to reduce mosquito populations safely. This treatment aligns with integrated pest management best practices and follows all regulations.
Organic Mosquito Treatment
For a natural alternative, we use a garlic-based organic spray that repels mosquitoes for 4-6 weeks. While the scent fades for humans within 30 minutes, it remains effective against insects for up to 8 weeks. This treatment is also approved and applied by our trained and licensed plant health care specialists, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.

Will you kill all mosquitos?
100% protection from every mosquito is not possible with any service, but you will get massive relief from mosquitoes with our program. Our service visits includes natural and conventional products that work to provide:
Immediate knockdown to any adult mosquitoes that come in direct contact upon application.
An effective mosquito repellent to help keep adult mosquitoes away.
Lasting residual control to help eliminate other adult mosquitoes that come into contact with it.
Are Treatments Safe?
All treatments are carefully applied by trained technicians following strict guidelines to minimize exposure risks.
We use a non toxic all natural product to treat most properties. If there is a significant infestations we may use more conventional products to reduce the mosquito population.
We are committed to the responsible use of pesticides. Our products are selected to target specific pests and are applied at regulated levels to protect both people and the environment. Children and pets should remain out of treated areas until the application has dried, typically 60–90 minutes, to ensure their safety and the effectiveness of the treatment.
Is one treatment enough?
For a one time event or short term relief from mosquitos – YES.
If you want the best results, and long lasting protection a full season program is recommend. With a full season program we will visit monthly to apply treatments and inspect the property.
Are mosquitos dangerous?
Mosquito bites can lead to various diseases, including malaria and Zika. In Canada, the West Nile virus poses a threat. Despite the low risk of catching the illness or suffering from severe health hazards associated with it, mosquito bites can prove to be painful and itchy.
Do I need to be home?
You are more than welcome to be home during a treatment visit but you do not need to be. As long as we have access to the backyard or other areas that require attention we can complete all treatments with out you present.
On a side note if you are home you will be required to stay out of our working area for your safety.
Can my pets and children use the yard?
Once the treatment is completed and has had enough time to dry (60 – 90 minutes) you may continuing use the yard as you normally would. Once the product applied during treatment has dried its safe to resume use.

Odds N Sods is happy to offer Mosquito Control Services for the exterior of your home.
Mosquitos aren’t just annoying, they can carry dieses that may harm your family. Mosquitoes with West Nile Virus have been found throughout Ontario. We offer safe friendly integrated pest management to control and limit the amount of pests in and around your property.
Our Control Plan include season long coverage from Early May to the end of September. Consisting of 6 scheduled visits to your property meaning you can expect to see us roughly every 3 to 5 weeks all summer long. If you find a treatment was not as effective as you would like we will happily visit again to retreat the property.
One time applications for special events are also available.
How Does A Mosquito Spray Treatment Work?
Our mosquito spray for backyards normally involves spraying your property and surrounding landscape (shrubs, trees, long grass, under decks and other hot spots) every 3 to 5 weeks.
We have two types of mosquito treatment options for your property depending on your preference and treatment area.
Our most popular option is comprised of a synthetic product that is similar to what is produced using the extract of plants and kills mosquitoes, spiders, and ticks on contact. The main ingredient in this product is often used for treatment of things like lice and fleas, and mites. This product also contains a repellent that forms a barrier like defense around your property.
We also offer a a garlic based product that is 100% natural. This product does have a garlic odor for a couple hours when first applied but is typically undetectable to us humans after 1 to 2 hours. It helps control mosquitos for up to 4 weeks before needing to be reapplied. This treatment option is ideal for those near bodies of water or those looking for a greener alternative.
We often use a combination of both products to ensure great success.
