Odds N Sods Process for installing or replacing sod consists of the following:
- Removal of existing lawn and weeds
- Delivery and spreading of soil amendments where required
- Sod Supply, Delivery and Installation of Fresh Cut Kentucky Blue Grass Sod
- Rolling of sod upon completion
- Application of Starter Fertilizer
- Full site clean-up
- Disposal of all waste and materials
- First watering of lawn
We have completed several hundreds of sod installations for clients in Durham, GTA, and Kawartha areas. We take on all sized projects from small patch jobs, to large jobs involving aggressive weeds and 1000’s of square feet.
Our work isn’t done once the sod is laid. We will show you how to properly care for your new lawn, and provide you with detailed instructions. We also stop by to check on its progress one to two weeks after installation. If you have any questions or concerns after installation we are always happy to help. Almost all of our Sod Installations are completed in one day. This includes removing your existing lawn and installing new sod. We have lots of experience and a hard working team. Projects over 3000 sqaure feet typically take two days.
We take care of everything from ordering the sod to installation and initial watering.
Once sod is installed it must be watered twice a day for the first week, once a day the second week and as needed after that. The first cutting will need to be done 7 to 10 days after installation. We recommend fertilizing once every 6 to 8 weeks.
With our expertise and attention to detail we can install sod from the beginning of May to the end of October. Each season has its pros and cons but at the end of the day we guarantee the same result – a perfect lawn!
